Project Status and Architectural Update Subsequent to the release of v3.9.2, the project underwent more rigorous simulation, analysis, and engineering review. This audit identified structural limitations in the v3.9.2 electronics and control architecture that prevented the level of empirical validation and energy accounting required for continued development. As a result, the project has pivoted away from the v3 electronics design toward a revised architecture inspired by Joule Thief–style regenerative mechanisms, implemented in a controlled, software-coordinated manner appropriate for scalable testing. The mechanical design and STL files published in the v3 repository remain valid and may continue to be used freely. However, the electronics, power management, and control logic beyond v3.9.2 are currently under redesign and are not represented in the v3 branch. The v3 release should therefore be regarded as a mechanical and historical reference, rather than a complete or current system design. The architecture currently under development employs: Ferrite-core bifilar coils arranged in a full 55-coil matrix, Two electrically independent windings per coil, and Active microcontroller-based coordination of regenerative behavior, rather than reliance on passive oscillation. Current work focuses on low-voltage (24 V) experimental validation at modest power levels (tens of watts up to approximately 100 W). This phase is intended to verify switching behavior, timing, thermal limits, and measurement methodology before consideration of higher-voltage or higher-power configurations. Future updates and revised documentation will be released as the redesigned system reaches appropriate validation milestones. V3.9.2: This dataset contains the complete design files, engineering documentation, and mechanical specifications for a 55-coil drum-style electromechanical test platform. The system is designed as an educational tool to rigorously investigate control strategies for pulsed magnetic interaction, specifically exploring the angle-timed impulse ("timed push") mechanical oscillator concept.
