Hospital General Information (HGI)

This dataset consists of a list of all hospitals that have been registered with Medicare. The list includes addresses, phone numbers, hospital type, and overall hospital rating.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released this dataset on 2022-01-26. The dataset was last updated fairly recently on 2022-01-07.

These are the official datasets used on Medicare.gov provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. These datasets allow you to compare the quality of care provided in Medicare-certified hospitals, Veterans Administration (VA) medical centers, and Department of Defense (DoD) hospitals nationwide.
