Embodied Painting and Entangled Encounters

Embodied Painting and Entangled Encounters is an exploration of the bodily, lively, and experiential aspects of my painting practice. I have explored these key components though studio activity, and it is from my perspective as a painter that I have written this exegesis. Through the practice-led research I have explored the sense of immersion that I experience with my work. In this exegesis, I have drawn a connection between my experiences of entanglement within a painting in the studio, to the way I approach a painting as a site for experimentation and discovery.
