资源简介:
This study performed transcriptome profiling in Caenorhabditis elegans to investigate the mediators and underlying mechanisms of radiation-induced bystander effects (RIBEs). Synchronized young adult worms were assigned to three experimental groups: a sham-irradiated control group (sham-LUI), a localized UV irradiation group (LUI), and a tyramine treatment group (TA). For each sample, total RNA was extracted from approximately 300 worms using the Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit, followed by high-throughput sequencing on the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. The generated RNA-seq data aims to identify global gene expression changes, specifically highlighting the neuroendocrine signaling and DNA-damage repair pathways that are co-regulated by localized irradiation and exogenous tyramine.
