<p>This Los Angeles Times poll is the 365th in a series of opinion studies designed to measure public attitudes on a number of critical issues. This particular survey focuses on politics, potential presidential matchups, state legislature job performance, the California civil rights initiative, Governor Pete Wilson's popularity, and consumer confidence. The survey was conducted via telephone with 1,343 men and women 18 years of age or older, 1,065 of which were registered voters. The surey was conducted in both Spanish and English.</p>
<p><strong>Please Note</strong>: This dataset is part of the historical CISER Data Archive Collection and is also available at the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at <a href="https://doi.org/10.25940/ROPER-31093054">https://doi.org/10.25940/ROPER-31093054</a>.
