To investigate the role of miR-16 in myogenic cells and whether it has consequences for muscle developmental growth, exercise-induced hypertrophy, and regenerative repair after injury, all of which rely on myogenic progenitors. We performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from miRNA-seq of 2 different conditions. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of miRNA-seq data for C2C12 myoblasts treated with miR-16 knockdown vs empty vector control.
