LAVICA-2024

The proposed dataset contains pairs of images from the Landsat-8 satellite and the AVIRIS sensing program. The selected images correspond to the California area with diverse types of land: mountains, seashore, settlements, croplands. For Landsat-8 multispectral images the corresponding RBG images were prepared. Original AVIRIS aerial images have a significantly unbalanced length-to-width ratio (about 10:1), thus they were splitted into 3 parts of equal length. Totally 18 pairs of images were manually extracted and paired according to sensing of common location. Ground-truth matching is given with 8 coordinates: 4 vertices of the AVIRIS images and their corresponding coordinates on the Landsat-8 image.
