We demonstrated that sub-clinical intramammary infection (<b>IMI</b>) with non-aureus staphylococci (<b>NAS</b>) induces changes in the milk lipidome. By applying an untargeted approach, we observed that the abundance of 597 lipids is modified over ten fold due to NAS IMI. Our results contribute to the understanding of inflammatory processes in the bovine udder, highlighting potential novel biomarkers for improving mastitis diagnosis
