Access Values

The Born-Digital Access Working Group began meeting regularly in 2017. As we approached the completion of our initial projects (Levels of Born-Digital Access; Access Practices Survey), we saw an opportunity to define our overall ethos and relationship to access on a high level. Through our Access Values statement, we aim to establish a shared set of community values around digital access, especially with regard to born-digital archival collection material. We also hope this document provides further context for DLF Born-Digital Access Working Group outputs and acts as a guide for taking on future community activities.
