# Dataset README — Rainbow Scattering from GrapheneToF spectra (TXT) + 2D Scattering Data (TXT) ## What this dataset isThis dataset contains:- **ToF Spectra** (TXT) measured using time-of-flight medium energy ion scattering- **2D Scattering Data** (TXT) measured and simulated It supports the manuscript:**“Rainbow Scattering from Graphene”** (submitted; no paper DOI yet). ## License**Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)** — reuse and adaptation allowed (including commercial),**with attribution** and indication of changes. ## Suggested citationReplace placeholders after publishing on Zenodo: Frank, C.; Vomschee, K.; Holeňák, R. ; Liebsch, Y.; Schleberger. M.; Primetzhofer (YEAR).*ToF Spectra (TXT), 2D Scattering Distributions (TXT) for: Rainbow Scattering from Graphene* (Version v1.0) [Data set]. Zenodo. DOI: <ZENODO_DOI> ## ContactCarolin Frank — carolin.frank@uni-due.de --- # Files in this Zenodo recordThis record contains:- `README_V01.md` (this file)- `manifest.csv` (file index / metadata table)- `Data.zip` ### Important: how the paths in the manifest work`manifest.csv` uses **paths as they appear after extraction**. If you extract this ZIP file into the same folder, you will get:- `2D Scattering Data`- `ToF` and the `relative_path` values in `manifest.csv` will match the extracted directory tree. --- # `manifest.csv` **Rule:** one row per underlying data file. Columns:- `relative_path` — the file path after extraction (e.g., `angular_distribution_20251112.txt`)- `technique` — MEIS / BCA / MD- `ion_species`, `ion_energy_keV`- `units_x`, `units_y` — units for TXT columns --- # File formats ## ToF Spectra (.txt)Plain text exports. Two numeric columns:- **X-axis**: time-of-flight (ns)- **Y-axis**: signal (cts) Any header/comment lines are kept as exported by the instrument/software. ## 2D Scattering distributions (.txt)Plain text exports. Two numeric columns for angular distributions:- **X-axis**: scattering angle (degree)- **Y-axis**: integrated signal (arb. u.) Matrix for spatial distributions:--- # Versioning- v1.0: initial Zenodo release (three ZIP archives + manifest + README).
