SoliDAIR journal bearings dataset

Mixed lubrication is the precursor to the most common modes of journal bearing failure. In order to determine when this occurs, dedicated tests have been conducted on a bearing test-rig. In these tests, the operating conditions are varied systematically to test for mixed lubrication. Following the fundamental understanding of lubricated contacts, both speed and load influence the occurrence of mixed lubrication in journal bearings. This dataset contains tabular data with sensor measurements from such tests and a label column for the classification of each data point into no mixed lubrication (‘0’) and mixed lubrication (‘1’).
