We used Ultra-Low native ChIP to interrogate the H3K27me3 and H3K9me3 chromatin states in primordial germ cells before and after gonadal reprogramming. Our data demonstrate that repressive heterochromatin is remodelled during epigenetic reprogramming. Overall design: We mapped genome-wide distribution of H3K9me3 and H3K27me3 from E10.5 and E13.5 primordial germ cells using adapted ultra-low native ChIP (ULI-nChIP). This allowed us to investigate the chromatin dynamics during genome-wide DNA demethylation.
