ExStream EPT-14 megabarcoding sequences

DNA Megabarcdoding Sequences from EPT specimens from the ExStream experiment 2022 in Germany at the Boye river This dataset has been introduced in: ==> Information will be added upon acceptance of the paper. Working title: "Improving taxonomic resolution, biomass and abundance assessments of aquatic invertebrates by combining imaging and DNA megabarcoding" The EPT-14 dataset supports fine-grained classification of aquatic macroinvertebrate species as well as regression analysis of specimens biomass. Here, all corresponding DNA sequences from 890 processed Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera and Trichoptera (EPT) specimens are stored. The final EPT-14 image dataset includes 146,439 quality-controlled images from 743 macroinvetebrate specimens, representing 14 species (13 genera, 7 families, or 3 orders), which can be found via DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.15966820.
