资源简介:
In this repository, you will find data files collected by the Sontek RiverSurveyor® M9 Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), during multiple field deployments in the Amazon River mainstem near Obidos, in Pará, Brazil. These files include river velocity data collected on transects across the river that occurred on April 3, 2014 and July 29, 2014. File names starting with '20140403' correspond to data collected on April 3rd, while file names starting with '20140729' correspond to data collected on July 29th. In addition, you will find discrete samples collected on the mainstem and in the Tapajós River during April and July 2014, tabulated as such: Table 1 - Locations of large-volume (>100 L) and depth-specific (10 L) samples collected in the Amazon River near Óbidos and in Tapajós River. The Óbidos samples were collected in three positions across the mainstem channel, referenced to the right bank across from Óbidos. Discharge, total suspended solid (TSS) and particulate organic carbon (POC) fluxes, and water temperatures are provided when available. In the sample depth column, “bed”=bedload and “flood”=floodplain deposit. Note that the 2005 data are taken from Bouchez et al. (2011) and Bouchez et al. (2014) - see references below. Table 2 - Total suspended sediment concentration, organic matter composition and grain size of all samples collected near Óbidos in 2014. Errors for C/N and δ13CPOC are reported. Relative errors of depth-specific Fm values are < 3%, and are not reported. Note that “bed”=bedload and “flood”=floodplain deposit. Table 3 - Abundances and δ13C values of straight-chain n-alkanes (C19-C41) in large-volume (>100 L) and depth-specific (10 L) samples collected in June 2005, April 2014 and July 2014. Table 4 - Abundances and δ13C values of fatty acids (C14-C34) from large-volume (>100 L) and depth-specific (10 L) samples collected in June 2005, April 2014 and July 2014. Table 5 - Activities of eight enzymes measured on particles within the Óbidos cross-section in July 2014, along with an acronym guide.
