Direct RNA-Seq of mouse embryonic stem cells derived motor neurones for m6A profiling

Motor neurons (MNs) are the key mediators translating motor commands generated within the central nervous system to peripheral muscle targets. A critical post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism with a key impact on gene expression in the nervous system is mediated by N6-methyladenosine (m6A), a widespread RNA modification. To investigate the role of m6A in MN biology, we performed direct RNA-seq of Mettl3-depleted and wild-type mouse Embryonic Stem Cell-derived MNs.
