资源简介:
How to repair the severe environmental pollution caused by large amounts of tailings left behind by mining is a global challenge. The application of remedial plants such as Morus alba L. combined with organic fertilizers (vermicompost) has great potential in improving the soil environment of rare earth tailings and increasing crop yield. However, the response mechanisms and interactions under the Morus alba L. combined with organic fertilizer model, from the perspectives of soil microbial communities, soil property characteristics, and yield, are not yet fully understood. Here, we studied the changes in soil properties, soil enzyme activity, microbial community diversity, and Morus alba L. fresh yield under four fertilization models in rare earth tailings soil. Our results show that Morus alba L. combined with vermicompost organic fertilizer yielded the best fresh Morus alba L. yield, primarily by increasing bacterial community richness and diversity. The Chao1 and Shannon indices in 2022 and 2023 increased by 5.16%, 29.84%, and 2.95%, 8.90%, respectively, compared to the chemical fertilizer treatment. It reduced the relative abundance of Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria by 19.31% and 37.51%, respectively, while increasing the relative abundance of Acidobacteria by 68.25%. It further improved key soil nutrients such as AN (661.54% and 668.95%), OM (422.00% and 411.75%), AP (353.24% and 3831.27%), and TN (150.00% and 154.69%), and related enzyme activities such as S_ACP (1013.89% and 713.33%), S_UE (136.88% and 232.72%), and S_SC (761.36% and 91.05%), enhancing the self-assembly process of the soil microbial community and the carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur cycling functions. This in turn improved the growth ability of Morus alba L. under adverse conditions. The SEM structural equation results show that vermicompost mainly affects Morus alba L. fresh yield by directly influencing soil nutrient composition. In summary, our study reveals the relationship between soil bacterial community diversity, soil properties, and crop yield under the Morus alba L. combined with vermicompost fertilizer model. It provides a scientific theoretical foundation for the rational use of Morus alba L. combined with vermicompost fertilizer and offers new insights for the development of sustainable modern agriculture.
