Precise cache detection by olfaction in a scatter-hoarder bird

This dataset belongs to an experiment about the use of olfaction in the detection of buried nuts by magpies, a scatter-hoarder bird. The dataset contains the following variables.<b>-Site</b>= Describe the two areas where the study was conducted, Huerta de la Paloma farm and IFAPA research station<b>-Plot</b>refers to the area used in the experiment where nuts were buried that consisted of three subplots<b>-Subplot</b>= Area 1.5 x 1.5 m in each plot. Each plot contains three subplots.<b>-Position</b>= Nuts (four treatments) were buried randomly in each subplot. This variable shows the position of each nut in each subplot.<b>-Treatment</b>= Treatments used in the experiment:Shell= Natural nutshells with soil; Diesel= Natural nuts coated with diesel; 3D= 3D-printed nuts; Natural= Untreated nuts of common walnut <b>-Detected</b>= Nuts detected by magpies1= Detected 0= Non detected<b>-Time dectection</b>= Time in days. <b>-Abandon</b>= Nuts that were detected but abandoned by magpies1= nut abandonment after detection.0= Nut removed after detection
