LULC classification based on spectral data

Spectral data, especially Vegetation indices, are intended to emphasize the spectral behavior of objects, in particular vegetation in relation to soil, built-up area to bare soil and other objects on the Earth's surface. The aim of this comparison was to assess the influence of vegetation indices on the determination of different types of LULC derived from satellite images. Thus, the results showed that there is no specific vegetation index that best represents all the assessed classes in the study.
