This dataset supports the manuscript "Single-Nucleus Multiome Analysis in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Reveals Pronounced Changes in Spinal Motor Neurons and Glutamate Overactivation".We performed single-nucleus multiome analysis (snRNA-seq and snATAC-seq) using 10x Genomics Chromium platform on postmortem motor cortex and spinal cord samples from ALS patients and controls. In total, 75,583 nuclei from the motor cortex and 62,711 nuclei from the spinal cord were analyzed.All procedures using human samples were approved by the respective ethical review boards and adhered to local and institutional guidelines. All data have been fully anonymized to remove any personally identifiable information.This repository includes:- Processed Seurat objects (.rds format) containing integrated snRNA-seq and snATAC-seq data- Tables of differentially expressed genes and accessible chromatin regions- Metadata for cell-type annotationsThe data can be analyzed using the R package Seurat (version 4.3 or later). This resource enables further investigation of gene regulation, chromatin accessibility, and cell-type-specific expression patterns in ALS.<br>Please cite the associated manuscript when using this dataset.
