Tourism Recovery and Territory

This dataset contains the replication files for the Research Note “Tourism Recovery and Territory: What Makes the Camping Sector Different?”. The data are used to analyse post-pandemic tourism recovery across Spanish provinces, comparing hotels and campsites between 2020 and 2023. The dataset includes the Stata data file and the replication do-file used to estimate the main Bayesian Model Averaging model and the Lasso robustness check. The analysis focuses on tourism resilience, measured as summer travellers relative to the 2019 baseline, and examines whether structural determinants of recovery differ across accommodation types.
