[Description of methods used for collection/generation of data] Raw data (scanned images in PDF format) were collected by downloading the data from a public italian repository (www.videpi.com) by selecting in the study area the seismic profiles showing best quality and without any interpretations. The data were initially converted to black-and-white Tiff images, using the open-source software "Inkscape". Seismic reflection profiles were digitized and transformed into a SEG-Y format using a workflow reported by Sopher (2018). Geometry files for each seismic profile were also generated from the seismic profiles locations available in Videpi. The Shots Points (SPs) or Common Mind Points (CMPs) have been extracted from the paths of the seismic profiles as points vectors in the open-source software QGIS. A few lines required a further edit by resampling trace and sample numbers to better fit the original data Reference: * Sopher, D., 2018.
