Early Clinical Samples and Cellular Experiments of SARS-CoV-2 Infection

The emergence of new pandemics is shaped by the complex interplay between intra- and inter-host evolutionary and epidemiological dynamics. In this study, we present data from early SARS-CoV-2 clinical samples and cellular infection and competition experiments to investigate the evolutionary dynamics of the SARS-CoV-2 virus during the initial phase of the COVID-19 outbreak.
