Sequencing of 7 SARS-CoV-2 positive samples from a patient with SARS-CoV-2 infection revealed a prolonged infection over 315 days. A 497 nt deletion in the ORF7b and ORF8 coding regions was identified in recent samples indicating a unique case of within host evolution.
