Data used for the publication "Large contribution of fossil-derived components to aqueous secondary organic aerosols in China "

We report new radiocarbon measurements of individual dicarboxylic acids in aerosols collected from a regional receptor site in South China. The compound-specific radiocarbon isotopic evidences show that fossil anthropogenic precursors contribute to the formation of aqueous-phase secondary organic aerosol to a much higher extent than expected. The dataset includes chemical composition and dual-carbon (stable carbon and radiocarbon) isotope composition of aerosols used in the study.
