Whole genome sequencing of Escherichia coli ofloxacin persisters, their parent cultures, and controls was performed to assess mutation rate in ofloxacin persisters. Rifampicin-resistant colonies were sequenced to determine if prototypical rifampicin resistance mutations were present.
