本研究数据来自青藏高原酒西盆地火烧沟组下部红柳峡西岸剖面0-185 m，对应年代为～37.67-36.33 Ma。按照0.5-1m的间距（150-185米之间采样间距放大），剥离表层堆积物后采新鲜样品，室内将样品研磨成200目粉末，用Konica Minolta CM-700分光土色计测定色度数据值，色度采用CIE1976（L*、a*、b*）表色系统，包括亮度（L*）、红度（a*）和黄度（b*）。
