18S rDNA metabarcoding of soil nematodes in a Solidago-invaded meadow

Using a DNA metabarcoding approach, we conducted the first in-depth analysis to reveal the responses of nematode assemblages to the dominance of a highly aggressive and noxious exotic species, Canadian goldenrod (Solidago canadensis L.), by comparing invaded and uninvaded (control) plot pairs in a protected urban meadow during the growing seasons of two consecutive years.
