Autophagy protein 5 (ATG5) and autophagy-related protein 12 (ATG12) conjugate negatively regulates the type I IFN production pathway by directly associating with DDX58/IFIH1 and MAVS through the caspase recruitment domains (CARDs). The ATG5-ATG12 conjugate intercalates between the CARDs of DDX58/IFIH1 and MAVS and inhibits signal transmission, resulting in suppression of type I IFN production and innate antiviral immune responses.
自噬蛋白5(ATG5)与自噬相关蛋白12(ATG12)的共价复合物通过直接与DDX58/IFIH1和MAVS的caspase募集结构域(CARDs)结合,对I型干扰素(IFN)的产生途径产生负向调节作用。ATG5-ATG12共价复合物嵌入于DDX58/IFIH1与MAVS的CARDs之间,从而抑制信号传导,导致I型干扰素产生及先天抗病毒免疫反应的抑制。
