Chemical composition of Pacific manganese nodules and crusts retrieved during a full-scale Continuous Line Bucket (CLB) system test

Manganese nodules and crusts were retrieved by a Continuous Line Bucket (CLB) manganese nodule retrieval system in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone (CCZ). This system was operating from the Kyokuyo Maru experimental ship. Selected samples were chemically analysed in bulk using Atomic absorption spectrophotometry.
