Topics: 1. The personal and economic situation of respondent as well
as political attitudes: expected development of personal and general
economic situation for the coming year; expected strikes and
international conflicts; probability of a world war (scale); primary
cause for the economic problems of the country; attitude to import
duties on food; general attitude to the USA (scale); judgement on the
relation between one´s country and the United States; influence of
American policy on war and peace as well as on the economic situation
of the country; assumed attitude of the USA to a strong, united Western
Europe; attitude to membership of one´s country in NATO; desired
national behavior in the Afghanistan conflict; judgement on the conduct
of the superpowers in their respective areas of influence.

2. Judgement on the energy situation and attitude to nuclear power:
assessment of current and assumed future development of the energy
problem of the country; assessment of the proportion of imported energy
(scale); assessment of particularly reliable as well as unreliable
energy providers from foreign countries; preferred concepts on
provision of energy; judgement on the extent of energy waste;
preference for government regulations or appeals to consumers to reduce
energy consumption; preference for use of public funds to solve energy

stable in price, most reliable and most environmentally friendly;
assessment of the risk of selected industrial facilities for people in
