Data and Verification Materials for "The Stellar-Disc Peak Radius as an Internal Structural Scale in SPARC Galaxies"

This record provides the data and verification materials associated with the manuscript “The Stellar-Disc Peak Radius as an Internal Structural Scale in SPARC Galaxies.” The main data product is a derived catalogue of stellar-disc peak radii, denoted r0, for the 175 galaxies in the SPARC sample. For each galaxy, r0 is defined directly from the public SPARC Rotmod file as the innermost recorded radius at which the tabulated stellar-disc circular-speed contribution Vdisk reaches its maximum. The construction uses the native Rotmod rows and does not introduce interpolation, smoothing, or new galaxy-by-galaxy disc fitting. The record includes a machine-readable catalogue, a spreadsheet version for convenient inspection, a README file describing the columns and verification summary, and a Python script that recomputes the catalogue from the public SPARC Rotmod files and verifies the supplied values. The materials support the manuscript’s treatment of r0 both as the anchor of the dimensionless coordinate r/r0 and as a measured internal structural scale in physical units. The catalogue is derived from the public SPARC Rotmod data of Lelli, McGaugh, and Schombert. The original SPARC Rotmod files are not redistributed in this record; users should obtain them from the official SPARC data repository and cite the original SPARC data paper and repository when using this derived catalogue.
