VPRS 17581 The Royal Women's Hospital Quality of Care Reports

This series comprises The Royal Women's Hospital's Quality of Care Reports, 2005 onwards.On the 1 July 2004, after nine years of being part of The Women's and Children's Health Care Network / Women's and Children's Health, The Royal Women's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital became separate legal entities whose role was to function as two specialist stand alone hospitals.The 2005 Quality of Care Report was the first edition produced by The Clinical Governance Unit of The Royal Women's Hospital, and not the combined health care service. Its purpose was "..to give a transparent public account of the quality of care at The Royal Women's Hospital."The publication continues to be a collaborative effort between Board of Management Committees; in 2005 it was the Community Advisory Committee on Women's Health and the Quality and Safety Committee.The Quality of Care Reports continue to be published on an annual basis and provide information for the public about the quality and safety of clinical care, how The Royal Women's Hospital compares with other hospitals and what measures it is undertaking to improve its services.
