Trichoderma asperelloides EP isolate Genome sequencing

Whole-genome sequencing of Trichoderma asperelloides EP, an endophytic isolate recovered from the stem vines of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) in Khordha, Odisha, India. This strain demonstrates potent antagonistic activity against fungal pathogens and exhibits strong plant growth-promoting traits in tuber crops. The genome sequence will facilitate investigations into its biocontrol mechanisms, secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters, and molecular basis of root colonization and adaptation in Trichoderma asperelloides.
