These data were produced by WorldPop at the University of Southampton. These data include gridded estimates of population at approximately 1km for 2024. These results were produced using the unconstrained and constrained individual countries 2024 datasets with country totals adjusted to match the corresponding official United Nations population estimates that have been prepared by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat (World Population Prospects 2024.
