Replication Data for "Dispersive Shock Waves in a 1D Quantum Liquid" This record contains the data and MATLAB analysis scripts underlying the manuscript “Dispersive Shock Waves in a 1D Quantum Liquid.” The experiment implements a moving optical piston in a strongly confined quasi‑1D 87Rubidium gas on an atom chip and measures dispersive shock wave dynamics across piston speeds up to three times the speed of sound. The record includes experimental density profiles, extracted observables (edge positions/speeds, shock wave widths, plateau densities, leak rates), and non-polynomial Schrödinger Equation simulations (zero/finite-temperature, including time-of-flight and imaging) used for comparison.
