PCR primers used for screening and genotyping.

Left and right primers used to sequence potential founders and transmitted alleles for Tulp3 exon 4 and exon 7 shown in Fig 1. The same exon 4 primers were used to genotype deletion alleles. Genotyping primers for biPASA assays included common “outer” primers with allele-specific inner primers for the reference (wt) and substituted (2G, 3G, or AG) allele. Short indel variants at exon 7 were typed using a 74-bp assay (Tx7.74). Exon 7 RT-PCR inclusion assay used a forward primer in exon 6 and reverse primer in exon 8. (XLSX)
