Main Endeavour Field Still Camera Deployed 2014-05-20

The Nikon D800 DSLR (SN 5008427) was deployed on 2014-05-20 at Main Endeavour Field. Main Endeavour Field is a vent field located at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Still Camera. Underwater still cameras are mainly used for high resolution imaging on Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) during maintenance expeditions. It was deployed on a fixed platform.
