This series is a record of the proceedings of the National Fitness Council.The meetings discussed issues such as the administration of the council including its structure and the appointment of various committees. Issues generally deal with by the committee included the provision of health and fitness facilities and activities including National Fitness Camps, Recreational Areas, Play Centres, sporting facilities and activities at Police Boys' Clubs, Youth Hostels, local, regional sporting facilities and school sporting facilities .In 1966 the Council assumed the functions of the Executive Committee which adjourned during the Consideration of a new Constitution.. The Council at this period met monthly, was required to consider issues in more detail and dealt with the financial statement. A subject index is located in the front of most volumes.
