This dataset contains outputs from the MarsWRF atmospheric model for Gale crater during local spring and summer. Analysis of this data and comparison with Curiosity rover observations can be found in Baker et al., (2020) "Diurnal variability in aeolian sediment transport at Gale crater, Mars."<br>Data is provided for every minute over seven sols at eight locations along the MSL rover's traverse. The locations included are: Precipice, Dorr Mountain, Cape Elizabeth, Mapleton, Sandy Point Beach, Ogunquit Beach, and Highfield. Variables include: localtime, u (E-W direction wind speed), v (N-S direction wind speed), u* (friction speed), density (atmospheric density).<br>
