Rice (Oryza sativa) seedlings were grown in greenhouse at 28 °C under a 14 h day/10 h night cycle. 2-week-old seedlings were treated by various abiotic stresses (such as heat, drought, and salt stresses). For heat stress treatment, seeding were incubated at 45°C. For drought stress treatment (PEG-6000 as a mock), rice plants were placed into a container of 20% PEG-6000 solutions. For high-salinity treatment, plants were transferred to MS medium supplemented with 200 mM NaCl and incubated at 15°C. RNA was extracted and analyzed from shoots (including stem and leaf tissue) at various times (0h, 1h, 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h, 36h and 48h) after imposition stress. The materials mentioned above for extracting RNA were quick frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -79 °C for further analysis. The RNA-seq data (Access number) included various time points of stress treatments.
