一、概述
本数据集源于全球30m分辨率数字高程产品数据集,利用ASTER GDEM第一版本(v1)的数据进行加工得到。其空间分辨率为30m,由于云覆盖,边界堆叠产生的直线,坑,隆起,大坝或其他异常的影响,ASTER GDEM第一版本原始数据局部地区存在异常,所以由ASTER GDEM v1加工的数字高程数据产品存在个别区域的数据异常现象,用户使用过程中需要注意。此外该数据集可以与SRTM全球90m分辨率高程数据集进行相互补充使用。
二、数据处理说明
ASTER GDEM是采用全自动化的方法对150万景的ASTER存档数据进行处理生成的,其中包括通过立体相关生成的1264118个基于独立场景的ASTER DEM数据,经过去云处理,除去残余的异常值,取平均值,并以此为ASTER GDEM对象区域的最后像素值。纠正剩余的异常数据,再按1°× 1°分片,生成全球ASTER GDEM数据。
三、数据内容说明
该数据集覆盖整个黄河上游,每个数据文件名称根据分片几何中心左下(西南)角的经纬度产生。例如,ASTGTM_N40E116文件的左下角坐标是北纬40度,东经116度。ASTGTM_N40E116_dem和ASTGTM_N40E116_num对应的分别是数字高程模型(DEM)与质量控制(QA)的数据。
四、数据使用说明
ASTER GDEM数据具有可计算及可视化功能,在各个领域的应用前景十分广阔,尤其是在测绘、地表形变及军事等领域具有十分重要的应用。具体而言,主要包括如下几方面:
在科学研究上,ASTER GDEM数据在地质学、地球物理学、地震研究、水平建模、火山监控以及遥感图像的配准等方面都有十分重要的作用。利用高精度数字地形高程数据建立地面的三维立体模型,与地面的影像镶嵌叠加,可以观测到地球表面细微变化。
在民用及工业应用上,ASTER GDEM数据可用于土木工程的计算、水库坝址的选定、土地利用规划等,在通讯方面,数字地形数据可以帮助商家建造更好的转播塔,研判移动电话亭的最佳地理位置;在航空安全方面,利用ASTER GDEM数字高程数据可以建立增强型飞机着陆报警系统,大大提高了飞机着陆安全系数。
在军事上,ASTER GDEM数据是C4ISR(军队自动指挥系统)的基础信息平台,在研究战场地域结构、作战方向、战场预设、作战部署、兵力集结于投送、防护条件、后勤保障等方面是必不可少的。
1. Overview
This dataset is derived from the global 30m-resolution digital elevation product dataset, and was processed using data from the first version (v1) of ASTER GDEM. Its spatial resolution is 30 m. Due to impacts such as cloud cover, straight lines, pits, bulges, dams or other anomalies caused by boundary stacking, the original ASTER GDEM v1 data has anomalies in some local areas. Therefore, the digital elevation data products processed from ASTER GDEM v1 may also have data anomalies in individual regions, which users should note during use. In addition, this dataset can be used complementarily with the SRTM global 90m-resolution elevation dataset.
2. Data Processing Instructions
ASTER GDEM is generated by fully automatically processing 1.5 million scenes of ASTER archived data, which includes 1,264,118 independent-scene-based ASTER DEM data generated via stereo correlation. The processing steps include cloud removal, removal of residual outliers, calculation of the average value as the final pixel value for the target region of ASTER GDEM, correction of remaining anomalous data, and then tiling according to 1°×1° grids to generate the global ASTER GDEM data.
3. Data Content Description
This dataset covers the entire upper reaches of the Yellow River. The name of each data file is generated based on the longitude and latitude of the lower-left (southwest) corner of the tiled geometric center. For example, the file ASTGTM_N40E116 has its lower-left corner at 40°N and 116°E. ASTGTM_N40E116_dem and ASTGTM_N40E116_num correspond to digital elevation model (DEM) and quality assurance (QA) data respectively.
4. Data Usage Instructions
ASTER GDEM data has computable and visualizable functions, and has broad application prospects in various fields, especially in surveying and mapping, surface deformation, military and other fields. Specifically, its main applications are as follows:
In scientific research, ASTER GDEM data plays a very important role in geology, geophysics, earthquake research, horizontal modeling, volcano monitoring, remote sensing image registration and other aspects. By establishing a 3D ground model using high-precision digital terrain elevation data and mosaicking it with ground images, subtle changes on the Earth's surface can be observed.
In civil and industrial applications, ASTER GDEM data can be used for civil engineering calculations, reservoir dam site selection, land use planning, etc. In terms of communications, digital terrain data can help businesses build better transmission towers and determine the optimal locations for mobile phone booths. In terms of aviation safety, ASTER GDEM digital elevation data can be used to establish enhanced aircraft landing alert systems, greatly improving the safety factor of aircraft landings.
In military applications, ASTER GDEM data is the basic information platform for C4ISR (military automatic command system), and is indispensable for researching battlefield regional structure, operational directions, battlefield pre-positioning, operational deployment, troop concentration and projection, protection conditions, logistical support and other aspects.
