Study of fungal microbial community of Pogostemon cablin Benth. under organic vs. conventional farming. soil metagenome cultivar:Patchouli “Johore”

Aim of study was to evaluate the effect of bioinoculant on the growth and essential oil yield of /Pogostemon cablin/ (patchouli) under field experiments of two years. Pyrosequencing of metagenomic ITS-1-ITS2 was carried out to analyze the effect of bioinoculants on the indigenous fungal community. This study would help to establish a correlation between niche differentiation, growth and disease management in bioinoculants treated /P. cablin/ (patchouli).
