Whole genome sequencing of Japanese Kikko-chiku. Phyllostachys edulis

Kikko-chiku (Phyllostachys pubescens var. heterocycla) is considered to be a variety with unusual culm shape from moso bamboo. We are interested in how the sequences differ between Japanese Kikko-chiku and moso bamboo, and which difference caused the phenotypic differences between kikko-chiku and moso bamboo.
