RAG-Prompts for Medieval Lexical Exploration: A Dataset from the Works of Chrétien de Troyes

This dataset contains the complete set of prompts and outputs used in the project “Music and Poetic Lexicon in the Works of Chrétien de Troyes: An AI-Augmented Exploration”. It includes 60 structured prompts and corresponding RAG-generated responses, grouped into three thematic experiments: (1) Lexical and Contextual Extraction, (2) Symbolic and Semantic Analysis, and (3) Co-occurrence and Network Mapping. The dataset demonstrates the use of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to explore musical vocabulary, emotional registers, and narrative functions in a medieval literary corpus. It aims to support further research in digital philology, medieval studies, and AI-enhanced literary analysis.
