Hankow [later Hankou, now Wuhan], Central China.; One of a set of eight loose prints of the Chinese Revolution 1911 to 1924 or various anti Japanese, anti-British or anti-communist disturbances or demonstrations between 1924 and 1927. Bernard Upward served the LMS in China from 1905 to 1927, after a previous period in China on behalf of the China Inland Mission from 1897 to 1904. His work was mainly involved in educational work at the Griffith John College.
