LINGUOPRAGMATIC CHARACTERISTICS OF FEMALE AND MALE SPEECH: BASED ON ORAL DISCOURSE MATERIALS

This article theoretically analyzes the linguopragmatic characteristics of female and male speech within the framework of oral discourse. The study highlights the impact of the gender factor on communicative behavior, speech strategies, forms of address, evaluative units, modal means, speech acts, presupposition, implicature, as well as direct and indirect forms of communicative expression. The linguopragmatic features distinguishing female and male speech are interpreted not as absolute and biological traits, but as phenomena intrinsically linked to social, cultural, communicative situational, and individual factors. Based on dialogic examples specific to oral discourse, the gender-dependent pragmatic characteristics of speech acts such as requests, advice, commands, objections, refusals, criticism, praise, defense, and conflict are examined. The results of the study show that differences in female and male speech should be investigated not merely through isolated lexical units, but in connection with communicative strategies, indirect or direct expressions, addressee orientation, and contextual factors.
