RNA-Seq analysis in the interactome study of the rRNA expansion segment ES30L

ES30L is a highly GC ribosomal rRNA (rRNA) rich expansion segment that is selectively expanded in mammals and birds when compared to other eukaryotes. Despite their discovery nearly four decades back, rRNA expansion segments (ESs) are under explored. Using computational, transcriptomic and proteomic approaches, we probed the interactome of ES30L to understand its potential function. This dataset is obtained from high throughput sequencing of RNA obtained from a pulldown experiment using biotinylated RNA oligonucleotides (ES30L mimic or a random fragment) in HEK293T cell lysates.
