IOOS Glider - Gulf of Mexico Hurricane Glider Operations in Support of Tropical Cyclone Intensification Forecasts - Stommel-20200813T1200

This mission is funded by the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) through the Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System (GCOOS) regional association. The near-real time in situ temperature and salinity water column data collected as a result of this project will be utilized for data assimilation to improve the accuracy of hurricane models.
