Fecal Metagenome of endemic Hipposiderids of Kolar, Karnataka

This study explores the fecal metagenomic profiles of multiple endemic bat species from the family Hipposideridae, collected in the Kolar district of Karnataka, India. By analyzing the microbial communities present in their fecal samples, the research aims to characterize gut microbiota diversity, detect potential pathogens, and understand host-microbe interactions within these insectivorous bats.
