The uploaded libraries correspond to RAD sequencing of four samples of adult evergreen oaks Quercus suber (1 sample), Quercus ilex (1 sample) and Q. ilex x suber (2 samples). Eight GBS libraries (genomic DNA was digested with MslI), and eight ddRADseq libraries (genomic DNA was digested with PstI/MspI), were used. Two libraries for each type of analysis were sequenced, so the duplicated samples could be used to infer locus and SNP detection associated error. These libraries were used as benchmark to validate RADdesigner, a workflow that combines pilot sequencing with a bioinformatic pipeline to select the most suitable methodology, quantify technical errors, optimize polymorphism detection parameters, and to perform post-filtering of the results produced by the commonly used RADseq bioinformatic pipeline IpyRAD
